Carbon Build-Up @ 37k Miles

Hey everyone, I had my intake valves walnut blasted on my 2015 435i. The job was done at Autobahn Motorsports in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Pictures of the before and after are below.[IMG]undefined[/IMG]

I probably won't have the car once it gets there. I barely drive it as is.

why would the shop even do the job at that mileage? I guess they do whatever the customer wants...

I barely can see the difference between both pictures...

I honestly have no idea tbh. someone decided to take this guy's money.

bottom line guys ita not needed till well over 100k in most cases. I've seen pics of 120k+ that still don't need it.

IS that 100k KM or Miles?

I had my walnut blasting done at 77k KM and i just hit 105KM, currently doing brake/rotors/ Fluids, Trans fluid next month,

I'm always so worried about missing something for the maintenance

miles.. You're wasting money getting it done sooner.

appreciate the post OP tbh I was trying to discern which pic were the before, if you dont mind me asking what was the ball park price for this job? im at 95K miles and will probably get this done with the transmission fluid service

It was 550 plus tax. The replaced the gaskets and cleaned the intake runners. The top two pictures are the before and the last one is the after.
