I can't speak for the person you're quoting but with my DAW v2.5 Doug stated that we could "gain an extra 100hp" with the DS2 or PI at the current level w/ TU pump (20-22psi). PSI for 600whp+ on DAW may be around the 28-30psi mark with 10-15 degrees timing i think.

Yeah 30 is definitely the upper limit …. 96% duty …were able to run more boost and less timing on e50 resulting in significantly more power …. Not as violent as the e85 down low but much better from 5K onwards!

Will shoot them to you this weekend! Car is definitely maxed out on turbo without PI … torn as it's a perfect and reliable daily but I'd love to try a daw like you!! Or maybe a pure 800! I think I'm at the max for the stock tranny and motor tho …. Daw or p800 would hit these numbers easily, the GC has to go balls out to clear 600/600

Curious how many revisions have others found it took their tuner to finish? Clarify if it was a single fuel or a flex fuel.

Wondering how much of a commitment it is to get to a final tune.

10 to 15 revisions with Doug. Double that for Cary.

Can you post some logs. I plan on getting flex fuel tune on DAW flowmax v2.5+ and need a good tuner with good response times.

I've used both Doug at Subpartuning and OdinTuned. Unfortunately Doug wasn't able to dial in my Vargas GC 93 Oct despite countless months and revisions and had me convinced something was mechanically wrong with my car.

I gave OdinTuned a try and was blown away by the difference and felt like a whole new car. He is friendly, quick to respond and provides updates on what he adjusts in each revision.

No hard feelings as I know others have had success with Doug, but for me Odin was on a whole new level and can't thank him enough for all the help. Highly recommended!

When you say couldn’t get the turbo dialed in what did it feel like? Was it boggin ? Or was it just not up to your standard for power and all

I asked a few days ago and attached some logs:

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=30451439

It was just slow to build boost and seemed like it was hesitating through the rpm range. With Odin, it builds boost quick and is very linear until redline. I can attach some logs once I have the final revision.

This is my final revision with Doug (subpartuning) on a DAW v2.5+, DS2, and on a flex fuel E50 tune (E4x)

I took blacksapphire440i recommendation of going with Doug. I was ever iffy since I had such a bad experience with my first tuner (twisted tuning). Doug always got back to me within 2 days. In a span of 1 1/2 he dialed in my tune for flex fuel daily map and an e40 kill map. The car has never felt better. He even helped me out work out a couple bugs on the car, not tuning related. Overall great experience. I'm on fbo, midpipe pure 800 w/DS 2.5 as well Sutphin transmission tune, great guy as well. Anyone with an zf8 needs to get his tune.
