Lower and Loving it!

Just wrapped up a day of installing Koni Reds and a set of H&R sport springs on the GT. Hadn't seen anyone running this set up before and was nervous about the results.

The ride is amazing, I feel like there's an improvement in overall ride quality and the car feels so much more sure footed on the windy roads where I live. Haven't bottomed out at all yet even on some rough roads.

Will post ride height before and after soon!

Just did the same on the same car a few weeks ago. No springs tho. Ride is so, so , much better. The fronts look like the springs are much shorter. Did you even have to compress to get on?

Yes, though the alignment feels correct I want to get it checked 👍🏻

Lowering will result in negative camber, which must be corrected. The car may feel OK, but the potential is there for damage to the suspension parts and tires.

This is clearly the "before"...

Also, did you install shorter bump stops as usually recommended with lowering springs?

Shorter bumps is the best aesthetic change I did in my F34.
Love your post.

No intentions to jack the thread, but wanted to share the results of installing Lowering springs at the fronts only (rears kept stock). OEM EDC struts. New LEMFÖRDER hats, Dinan bump stops, new stabilizer bar endlinks.
Eibach PRO-KIT, XDrive springs, (E10-20-031-06-22). Claimed front drop 0.8" (20.3 mm).

Car is all year round daily driver, nor intention to drop any lower.

On winters (F06/F10/F12 rims, style 281, 18", square):

On summers (F34 rims, style 598M, 19" staggered, 10 mm front spacer and 12.5 mm rear spacer):

Wild, never head of anyone doing this, it looks perfect. I have been debating it but most of the springs are too low for me and the ACS springs are 3x the price for a lower drop. Doing just the front is an interesting concept.

Thanks!
I just could not stand the reverse-rake look of the car - that's why the fronts-only change... The rears would drop further with new springs and the reverse rake would be visibly noticeable yet again. I'm content with how the car handles at these heights and will be upgrading with Dinan Shockware to tighten the response from EDC struts.
The springs were first intended for my wife's F30 XDrive, but then she destroyed a front lip on stock XDrive height before I even had a chance to install the springs. Now I keep her car stock in terms of suspension.

That looks VERY nice!
I've just bought a set of those same 400M wheels for my F34. Did you put wheel spacers on? Because when I did a test fit of the wheels, the offset seemed a little off to me and looked like I need to use spacers to move the wheel out a bit. 18x8 front, 18x8.5 rear
My F34 is UK spec (320i RWD) so the springs you picked won't work on mine (non-xdrive).
