2018 GT 340i xDrive Remote Start
Well it's cold in Michigan again, and the one thing I liked my winter Jeep Grand Cherokee for was it's factory remote start so when it's 10 degrees in the morning I don't jump into a freezing car.
Anyone put an aftermarket remote start kit on their GT? If so, was it worth it? The old Jeep knew when it was below 30 degrees, so if you remote started the vehicle it would automatically put on the seat and wheel heaters, and crank the heat up. I know the GT doesn't have that, but maybe if I leave the heat on high when the car's off it will turn back on. TIA! |

This subject has been beaten to death for the last ten years. It can't be done, unless you have an extra fob to leave in the car, which along with the other hardware takes you up to well over $1k, plus labor. Wear a sweater.

Bimmers=cars I must have missed all those Bavarias, 2002s, 3.0CSi coupes, original 3/5/7 Series, etc. with XDrive.
