F30 Pre-LCI tailights into LCI tailight questions

Hi guys,

I'm sure there are tons of threads out there talking about PRE-LCI F30's converting into LCI tailights with the DEPO tailight kit.

Due to some shipping issues and billing issues with what I've been dealing with with the supplier, (my fault, not theirs) I've been searching for some other options.

I've come across an auto parts recycle shop and they have LCI Tailights from a totaled 340i. Due to it just being a front end collision, the rear is completely untouched.

I was wondering if it would be possible to pull the entire tail light assembly from that car and then wire it to my car (PRE-LCI). I'm assuming the least I would need is some sort of wiring harness to make this work and obviously some coding.

Is this possible?

Yes it is possible. It would be the same process if you bought from a vendor.

I appreciate it, do you know where I would be able to find the wiring harness to get this done?

I have not looked into this myself but maybe from a vendor that seller the LCI lights? Maybe eBay to.

I would love this mod for myself.
