335i front brakes- M3 vs EBC Yellow pads

Hi, All,

I'm replacing the 300mm "child fists" fronts on my 320i with 335i 340mm stock ones, which carry stock 34116859066 pads, which I would prefer to replace immediately with higher grade ones.

At the moment I have the offer of 34112284969 (M3) pads for $100 and awaiting for the EBC Yellow DP42130R price.
I've just received the EBC Yellow rears (costed me $80 compared to $50 for BMW stock ones) to be installed tomorrow to give them a try at least on the rear axle and probably slightly amend the changing brake bias.

So I wander if anyone tried the M3 pads on 335i stock rotors?
From the other options there are Hawk HP+, which are mostly positive in reviews, Carbontech and Power Stop which are mostly famous for low dust.
Endless and similar are over $200, where I would not like to go as I don't track, but like spirited driving from time to time.

My car has 328i ECU, Michelin PSS staggered on 400M, stock suspension and Wiechers strut bar- the setup I'm absolutely happy with all those due to the roads are far from perfect.

Brake fluid is planned to be changed with Motul 5.1 as I usually do.

Thanks a lot for any input!

EBC Yellow DP42130R cost $200 here, which is Endless EIP206MX-RS territory.

Thanks, Man- think will settle on those.
Do you have any low-speed squeaking issues after getting them hot?

I bedded them in and so far have been OK for DD/commuting and some fast road use. Not tracked the car yet.

Thanks- much appreciated.
I've found your thread on the brakes and the bedding programme- will follow that.
Ordered M3 pads already.

I'm planning to upgrade my 335i front brake pads as well soon, but primarily for track purposes. To piggyback off the OP, should I go with EBC yellow or M3 pads? I see on amazon, EBC yellow is $115 shipped. Not sure where to get M3 pads and what the price point is.

I'm interested too on them.

Read some threads on that Pagids- many say these pads to be very noisy (not sure is the noise squeaking of humming).
And whopping price of $315 for the fronts (I've bought M3s for 1/3 of that).
