Choosing not to go the spring route anymore. Planning on getting the bc racing coils. Any thoughts?

Coils will always be a better option than springs alone.

hello people, I'm lowering my car with some h&r sports but am doing the shocks too.

are bilstein b8's the way to go?

i don't want the ride crashy or harsh and was told without doing the springs aswell it will be.

any ideas?

thanks.

Avoid the B8s with the H&R springs.
Search the suspension forum and you will find numerous that's commenting on how they are not compatible.

Dinan springs on the other hand sound like they would be a much better match with the B8s.

Option 3, go coils

Noob Question. I recently bought a 340i xDrive. Lowering it on Dinan or HR springs would this effect anything regarding to being xDrive model?

If you can't get the M Performance Suspension due to xDrive, then go with quality coilovers.

(Unless you just want to lower with springs but then you'll likely have a ride that's worse than stock when you have mismatched springs/shocks).

/thread.

See below iPhone pic for reference. I am going to add spacers and will do a proper photoshoot soon.
Gorgeous. Same car that I have. What spacers were you planning to run?

The only 340 xdrive options right now are the H&R Sport springs, or the Bilstein B14 coilovers. Dinan does not have a spring for the 340 (yet).
