2015 316d is losing power for split second after gear change

I recently bought a used 2015 BMW 316d and since last couple of weeks it started losing power for a split second after every gear change. Till now I've seen this happening only in comfort mode and not in sport mode (may be because I use sport mode mostly on straight road with high speeds). Earlier it use to happen only in 2nd and 3rd gear but now it has started happening frequently in every gear and sometimes while cruising in 6th gear as well. Is this a known issue and what could be the possible reason for this?

How bad is it? Can you upload a video to show this?

Is it happening at 100% throttle or partial throttle?

Does it happen when the car is cold or when it has heated up?

What is your mileage?

it's not too bad but I believe it is just a start. Capturing a video will be difficult as the power loss is quite subtle and happens mostly on the road very quickly.

It happens on partial throttle and soon after I change gears.

It happens irrespective of car temperature.

Mileage is around 50K and Car is a manual transmission diesel.

Interesting. I thought it was an auto.

For the manual it could be either the clutch slipping or most probably the clutch delay valve (CDV).

Is the engine revving but there is not power?

Do you have a check engine light or any codes in the system?

Apologies for replying a bit late. I was going through posts on bimmerpost and came across few which mentioned similar problem and every one said that this is due to faulty EGR valve. And almost at the same time, I got a recall notice on my car for faulty EGR cooler. BMW personnel came to fix it and I was certain that it'll fix the problem I was having but he concluded that there was nothing wrong with the EGR coolant. I told him about the problem and he ran the code check on car which showed that the EGR valve is faulty.

So long story short, I'm getting the EGR valve fixed this Thursday and after this I'll post if that solved the problem or not. Fingers Crossed.

Got the code fixed for faulty EGR valve, fixed the issue right away. One more code was found which also results in similar problems: Faulty downstream O2 sensor. Going to get that fixed soon. Cheers.
