Nothing beats a meat flush look with concave wheels.
Yea I love that meat flush look, CONGRATS! Can you send some pics of the set up? Any camber required? I'm on standard brakes so it should work just fine Thanks!

Hey guys quick question... I'm currently running a staggered set of 400m's on 18X8 up front and 18X8.5 in the rear. They are wrapped in 225/45 DWS06's all arounnd (I was running them on my square set of 397's and didn't want to sell them yet).

My question is, can I run spacers on this setup to get a little bit more of an aggressive look? If so, what do you guys recommend?

Sweet! Are you running 225/45's all around as well? Do you have any pics?

Edit - I'm dumb.

Look's great, thank you! I think 10mm and 15mm spacers will do it for me with my setup. The only thing I'd change are the rear tires from 225/45 to 255's at some point when the tires need to be changed.

I'm on OEM staggered 225/45 with 255/40. Good luck and let me see some pics once you ordered.

Awesome. My rear 255's a a tiny bit stretched but not visible if you don't know what you're looking at.

I think you can do MPSS 255 with 8.5 from reading some threads. I do 245 RE71R's no issue with 18x8.5 ARC-8

The 255s bulge on 8.5. I am probably going to sell my summer set. I'd really recommend 245 on 8.5. I will get some pics. 245 18x8.5 et38 with a couple spacers looks ok but isn't exactly dialed. I'm trying to calculate what 245 on 18x9 et30 would look like instead. I may even go 19s but probably not. It sucks not being able to try / test fit.

You won't have any rubbing with 235.

Do you mean 19x8.5 ET20? Or maybe 19x9 ET28? Pretty sure APEX doesn't make a 19x9 +20 ARC-8...

Does the wheels poke at all? And do you think running 45s instead of 30/35 will still fit? Really looking to get these wheels but I see a lot of posts saying it won’t fit..

These wheels 100% fit, clearly, as many are running them. For whatever reason many people on this forum only think a wheel "fits" if it's a super conservative fit/sunken in wheel well.

At any rate, are you planning to lower your car? If not, then they will poke a couple mm's but will ride perfectly fine depending on tire choice. I personally like an aggressive look so a couple mm of "poke" can look good if lowered and proper tire choice. Then again I'm the type of person that wouldn't buy wheels until lowering the car first.

Regardless, a 45 profile tire is very thick for a 19" wheel, I'd stick with 40 front / 35 rear if you want meaty setup.

Here's mine, pretty much identical but with 8.5 +20 225/40 up front (same "poke" because of +20 offset as 9 +28) and I have plenty of room but I have some natural camber from the coilovers.

Yes I’m planning to run coilovers, but damn your car sits sooooo nice! You confirmed for me that I need to get them now haha. Thanks for the info!

I’m going to pull the trigger and get some arc8s. Do you think you would have room to run 245/35/19 in front and 265/35/19 in rear or will pull it be a tight fit?

So it'll be tight depending on wheel size/offset/tire brand and how low you go. If you plan to go the 9.5" +33 / 9" +28 (or 8.5" +20) you should be OK in the rear, I'm 255/35 and have a decent amount of room.

The front though at that tire width and wheel offset I think you'll rub the bumper tab on big dips/bumps. I shaved part of mine off with a dremel to avoid rubbing on large dips/bumps at my current ride height.

You could always do the less aggressive front wheel offset (19x9 +38) and you should be OK with the wider tire up front, just no concave up front but still looks good with rear concave. I almost went that route myself.

Since this has been bumped recently Ill toss my question in here as well.
Looking at these wheels for my '15 F36. How wide can I go without any poke in the rear on stock m sport suspension. 18x9 or 18x9.5?
If 18x9.5 would fit what kind of offset would I lookin at?

The post below pretty much sums it up:

Although we haven't tested this setup ourselves, it is being used by many and we haven't seen any reports of rubbing. At stock ride height, it may look a bit too aggressive without negative camber dialed in.

If you don't plan on lowering the car, you can use the 18x8.5" ET35 front with 235/45-18 and 18x9" ET30 with 255/40-18 rear for a slightly more conservative fitment.
