  • No PDF of Install instructions to realize install difficulty & the claims of '100% PnP'

Even if the company is accredited for quality versions for other cars - this is a totally new product, with no real time history in real use...

This is even more important when said company is asking $$ ahead of time of actual release. I would much rather (& gladly) pay the xtra $200 - months, or 1 yr later, once it has had reviews, more real life data/experience available, & a chance to fix any bugs that arise.

It may turn out to be a great high quality/reliable part, but I'm not gambling my expensive engine for a crummy 200 bucks

I mean REALLY - not even a picture WTF????
Exactly no reason to take it easy your right.

Is this pump comparable to SP and XDI pumps as far as performance? Looks like it's on sale:

people ask the same questions over and over for their own cause . other people start quoting , double triple quad quoting the same over and over . thats how you end up with 160 pages , prolly 80 percent is obsolete

Dorch Engineering now has an option offering similar flow rates at $700 less than TTFS & $400 less than Spool?

Emailed Dorch Engineering about fitment for my car model and other info.
They replied the same day.
They are in final stages of beta testing and MHD checkbox should be ready from Dorch by the end of February (MHD's schedule will determine ultimate release date), pump has lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.

Gotta love a lifetime warranty, assuming they stay in biz that long.

I saw their B58 HPFP is now supported in BM3. Anyone heard from Dorch or PTF on a timeline for the N55 pump support in BM3? I assume there will be different selection choices for Stage 1 & 2 HPFP’s, as well, just like XDI 35 & 60?

PTF has the N55 calibration files, support will be available soon. Don’t believe S1-S2 pumps will require separate support (believe Dezen stated this when I asked on his FB post).

My S2 is on the way .

Call me crazy, but I think I’ll go Stage 1 and E40-50 for my Dinan turbo, and maybe I can just get a 2H map from Halim for now.

Then do a PS2 upgrade next year and more involved E40-50 dyno tuning, but still keep power levels lower (440-450whp) to help deal with heat issues on hot summer track days.

Seems like Stage 1 will be enough for that.

If your realistic goal is the PureT S2 route, S1 HPFP will be perfect. Anything over 550whp, you should consider S2 for the headroom.
