Y Cable not working...
Anyone have any idea why the bmw Y cable wont work with my iphone? I have pro nav and the dealer told me i would need it to connect the phone as the standard apple cable doesnt work.
Turns out the apple lightning cable works perfectly well and the Y Cable doesn't. I get a message on the phone saying multiple accessories cannot be used |

Agree with all comments above, as I use the supplied Apple cable with no problems, begs the question why and what circumstances do you need a £58 Y cable? for non Apple uses?

It was a freebie thrown in anyway, I just thought it might have worked as well as the normal cable. Suppose it can go on ebay and ill just buy an extra lightning cable for the car!

It works fine in my F30 with my iPod and we have one for the wife's Mini Countryman for her iPhone 4S and no problems there either. |
