Enabled SPORTSHALTER, car is louder. Why?

Hey all,

I was attempting to code launch control on my 2014 F30 N55, found out that LC was aktiv but SPORTSHALTER was nicht_aktiv, so I switched to aktiv and coded fdl. LC now works, but I also noticed a lot more exhaust burbles, not as loud as MPPK but they are a lot more noticeable now when off the throttle and I love it. But it makes me curious to why enabling SPORTSHALTER did that, if that was the cause for the burbles at all.

Any ideas?

Also wanted to play around with ASD, but couldn't see the ECU in e-sys. Pulled the panel covering the amp and there wasn't a ASD module there =/

Not all vehicles have ASD.

Also noticed quicker/harder shifts in manual SPORT+ mode.

+1. You can't use software to enable hardware that you don't have.

I understand that. I'm a noob with E-Sys that's the only reason why I pulled the panel to physically check for the ASD amp.
