hi guys, i live in toronto. I am looking to trade in my 2014 BMW 320i (70,000km no accident) to purchase a 2018 x5 40e with m package and premium package. I checked unhaggle that the invoice is 7% off the MSRP. Upon reading this thread, it seems like the invoice varies for dealerships. My question would be if i were to finance this purchase. What should i look out for? 5yr finance vs any specific duration? what deal would be a great deal? My 320i is still running flawless so no rush on getting a new vehicle.

Personally I always look for the lowest monthly payments since financing is a loan, unlike a lease. Unless you don't want to keep the car past a certain number of years (ex: 4), why not just go for the one that gives you the lowest payment? You can always pay MORE on the loan if you want, but then at least you don't have to, and this can matter if you're planning on other large purchases (ex: a new house).

Hi Kailec, i signed a contract yesterday. Felt i am paying slightly more than i should. x5 40e with m package, premium package and connectivity totaling MSRP 86250. My trade in 2014 320xi is for 140000 before tax. Monthly payment for 5 years is 1140. That is including the Ontario rebate of 7000. Anyone want comment on the deal?

That's a big jump lol.. I have no idea about current pricing since I'm not shopping around for a car. That being said, if you felt like you were paying too much, why did you sign the contract?

So all you got was the Ontario credit, which has nothing to do with BMW?

How much Discount did you get off MSRP?

Hi, the transaction did not go through. All 40e with m package were sold out. I almost got ripped off.

Hahahaha. I need a larger vehicle to haul. 320 can't fit all my camping gears with four people inside the car. My girlfriend's X4 can't either.
