Just as a point of reference. I bought a late (oct) 2015 335xi M Performance edition with 10,000km for 53k. The vehicle was a employee lease and is pretty much brand new. From my perspective, 47k would be about tops what i'd pay given the km's on the car and assuming within BC (cars in this province tend to go for a higher price than out east). Definetly not overpriced, but not a great deal either. Reasonable if I wanted to get into a M performance edition.

I love the interior of your new M3. Congrats!

Thanks for reminding everyone bobblehead.

However, today isn't the day. . The dealer pushed delivery until Friday May 20th as they could not get an appointment to put the Xpel on till the 19th.

So the good news is people have one more week! The bad news I have one more week to wait also.

The price is $46,000 and a set of OEM square winter tires and rims come with the car!

I would be interested, but I'm not liquid

Just got a shiny new job and I've seen your car on autotrader - issue would be, I should probably get a bit more stabilized before I pull the trigger on a m-sport.

Thinking of short-term leasing a 328i in the meantime...

how much dealer offered you?
why dont you sell it with same money dealer offered + some $ for the winter set? Do something nice for somebody with less $ than you. I`m sure will be less than what you`re asking right now.
Thats what i did when i sold the X5.
Giving it back to the dealer is like helping them f...... make more money.

I think that is pretty much where we are right now. I am pretty sure I am being nice already and selling it for less than the dealer will be by a long shot. If you don't have $46,000 for a car I am pretty sure it won't make a difference if it's being offered for $44,000.

Maybe for some people $2000 will make a dif. Who knows?

Congratulations you did better than I thought you would on the sale of your 2014 335 xdriive. I thought that you would have got around $43,000 to $44,000 for your car in a private sale. I am glad you stuck to your guns and eventually found a buyer at $46,000.

As a point of reference I traded in my 2013 335 xdrive with 49,000 km and absolutely no options in January for $34,600. My rough math is your car is one year newer so add $4,000, has 12,000 fewer km so add another $500, winter wheel and tire package add $1,000, an estimated $15,000 of options and M performance parts x 10% to 15% value added to resale value add $1,500 to $2,000, and add another $2,000 for selling privately = $43,000 to $44,000.

I know my dealer gave me a great trade in on my 2013 335 xdrive 5 months ago because with a $34,600 trade in I would have had to sell it privately for $40,000 to get the same after tax 15% PST and GST benefit but still your dealer really gave you a lowball trade in figure.

By the way, you are going to love your M3 and there is absolutely no comparison to your 335 xdrive. I took a drive last night on the Sea to Sky highway to Squamish and the M3 was so smooth on the new roads and stuck like glue to the curves!

Garage List
Glad to hear you got your price for the car!
I'm contemplating selling my car as well. This gives me a gauge as to what my car could fetch if I were to buyout and sell (albeit mine is a 2015 and under 13,000 km atm). My lease terms are reasonable as well so having someone take it over could be an option too.

do it soon before the MY2017 arrives in late August and then you will see another round of pricing adjustment

Prices in Vancouver are higher anyway.
I`ll sell mine when the new 5 series comes out.
Which dealer you got yours from?

I'm willing to give up the wheels and tires if he's willing to do 25 grand with everything else included.
