Gotta get the part number for the gloss black HVAC plate, looks much better than the matte finish.

I think it has entirely to do with the elevated camera angle. From eye level this looks great. But so many press shots were taken down low, and that vantage makes the car look less "planted".

Surprised to see the US model does not include the metal trim around the climate and audio controls, but it does include the piano black finish instead of the matte black of the F30. I hope that is a cheap part to swap out.

I suppose they had the cart before the horse when they were toying with the idea of creating a separate moniker for the coupe. However, now that they've created it, the visual differences between the two hark back to the subtle differences of E46 yesteryear.
Could not agree more.

..interesting.. it just dawned on me that the Xdrive logo is not above the Bimmerang... for some reason i thought it would be above the air curtain outlet as with the M-sport ///M-logo

The Modern and M-Sport fronts are a lot better than the Sport line... There is too much plastic and it look soooooo cheap.
For a 45k car, they could have done something better!

Could you provide a link to pictures of the modern line? Can't seem to find any pictures

I love it. I really disliked the BMW release photos of the 4 series, but just real world lighting, I love it.

I am not going to get too hard on them for all the series looking alike. I don't know why, but it has become a Industry norm now to make almost every line look generally the same.. the 3 5 7 look SO similar. Audi 3/4/5/6/8, Merc E/S.. more to come with refreshes, Lexus IS/ES/GS/LS...

Just think about say 2009, how UNIQUE the 1 3 5 and 7 were, it's crazy

For those who were there, how did you feel about the xdrive wheel gap in the flesh?? noticeable if you are not looking for it? I cant decide what to do about an order, simplicity would say xdrive and put all seasons on it while part of me wants to go RWD for the better suspension and looks then play the summer/snows game.

biggest fail with the 3/4 series is lack of sport suspension on xdrive. most of us just want the extra traction when the roads are snowy but will never be in deep snow. my S4 was just fine this winter with its low ground clearance.

otherwise love the car... especially in red

I was there and took the first two pictures and feel that they accurately represent how the xDrive coupe looks. I think with most xDrive vehicles across BMW's line you can minimize the visual gap with the right wheels. Our xDrive F30 with 19" 403s doesn't look like a 4x4 but put it next to a similarly equipped car with 18" 400s and there is a world of difference.
