MPPK Airbox question - Whistle?

Heya.

So I am debating ordering the MPPK airbox.

What I am talking about is:

Just wondering if anyone running this has experienced a substantial increase in that turbo whistle?

No, not really. You can hear a definite whistle at very high RPM, but what you hear the most is the intake moan, which is more pronounced with this airbox.

Perfect.

Exactly what I am looking for.

Have the BMS intake... Lasted about 15km in the car. Maybe I am getting too old, but I couldn't take the feeling that I had someone sitting under my hood letting out a whistle every time I touched the throttle.

Thats most likely because the BMS intake is fully open.

Anyways, its about 200 bucks for the MPPK pieces... I'll take the risk.

The airbox piece is available as a standard bmw part.

So anywhere that sells replacement parts.

I've never ridden up on the hood to hear any whistle from the MPPK airbox.
