New version f30?

Just picked up my new 330d f30 and was told that its the "new" version. Apparently changes its got a slightly bigger idrive controller that allows you to draw a letter on the controller with your finger to spell out postcodes etc? Also small m badges on the sides.

Anything else to look out for?

I'm still exploring the "sail mode".
In eco-pro, it prompts you to release pressure on the throttle when approaching speed limits, roundabouts, bends, downhills, etc. It's linked in with the nav and a bit of an unnerving level of integration, to be honest. almost big brother watching.
But i've not experienced the system going into neutral yet.... more driving required...

Wouldn't the Driving Examiner mark you down or give you a fault for using sail mode (coasting) on your driving test? Bad driving technique?

Sail is only activated above 50km/h (ECO PRO mode only), and only when coasting. Touch the brakes and it goes into (normal for all F3x) 'harvest' mode. I doubt you would really feel it vs no sail, athough rev needle would drop to idle.
