Front PDC issue

So my 320i (F30) came with stock rear PDC and then the front PDC was retrofitted by the dealer.
They act out and I am trying to figure out how to fix this but need some help.

When I place in Reverse I can see their color graph but when I shift back to D they appear but without the color graph.

Any ideas what could this be?
Maybe they didn't fully code it correctly?

PDC = Park Distance Controller is not sold for rear or front only.

Thats interesting because locally I have seen vehicles with only rear parking assist sensors.
Also I decoded my VIN and it states “S507A PDC, Rear”
Also I dont have the PDC button.

I also tried going I to coding with BimmerCode in expert mode and found that several of the PDC variables are set as F20_PDC. I am not aure if its ok or not.

Maybe a 320i has some weird, cheap options.

I have a factory PDC on my F36 and the front sensors only work while in REVERSE. I have to hit the PDC button if I want to make them come on while going forward.

Well it works when I place in revers, then when I place in drive they still work till the cutoff but the issue is that I can only see the color range on the screen for the front PDC when in reverse because when I put in D I can see the image if the car with the grayed front PDC but the colored range doesn't appear. It stays empty

Yes the front/rear sensors and camera automatically turn on when in reverse.

Otherwise you need to manually press the PDC button to turn on the front/rear sensors (e.g. when you're pulling in to a tight spot)

I read there's a setting where you can set it to automatically come on without having to push the button. But I'm not sure if it's available on my car.

I'm pretty sure there's no option within the UI. Maybe they were talking about coding it? I think it would be annoying though, wouldn't it constantly be coming on whenever you came to a stop or slowed down?

The behavior is fine for me.
It pops up when placing in reverse.
I am considering retrofitting the PDC button.

But thats not my problem. If you see the pictures, the car hasnt moved and there is an obstacle in front. When in reverse, you can see on the small image on the right of the camera that the Green Yellow and Red shows on the front of the car.
When I change to D then the full image appears but then the Green Yellow and Red are not visible but the PDC still beeps.

Can't say for sure. could be coding, could be some how they hooked them up wrong, could be bad sensors. Bring it back and tell em to fix since you paid for it.
