Just wanted to give a quick update. In the coming months i will be converting all of our tune files to V3 of the DSP PC-tool software.

I will also try to create 2 versions of the new tuning files. One will be a SQ tune and the other one will be what i call a 'POP" tune which is geared toward what most of you guys listen to. Top 40, House Music, Hip Hop etc... with the Pop tune i will be using music stored on my Iphone.

Thanks Nelson. Appreciate the trouble in trying to get this done. I still don't have my 4ohms sub after waiting 3+ months so I am still "ok" for now.

New tune file for Bavsound speaker upgrade with OEM floor woofers

Relatively new BimmerTech amp owner here... Here is a tune file that I created and feel that is ready for release in the wild.

Created with 3.28d software...

It's not perfect, but I'd like to get some feedback from the group...

Bavsound, OEM under seat woofers, LHD

Cheers!

These "user" tune files are useless without information on what speakers are hooked up.

Bought my amp used (think he had an F30) so just curious if the tune that is likely loaded already could be improved upon.

Thanks in advance.

I assume these are all LHD set ups?

Just curious... to swap this to RHD, do I just reverse the position settings?

This has taken forever for me to finally post here, have been running this tune for quite a while now and happy with it for the wide variety of genres I listen to.

My current setup is LHD, Bavsound Stage 1 Mids and Tweeters, Bavsound Ghost Underseat Woofers, and an Infinity 10" trunk subwoofer in a sealed enclosure powered by a 500 watt mono amp. I would say that this tune might not be the best for people with no trunk sub, as I have the setting for the underseats geared towards a setup with a true subwoofer in the trunk to handle the heavy stuff. If you do happen to be running a subwoofer, just adjust the gain on that amp to suit.

Hopefully this helps someone out, I haven't really had time to go back and fine tune it but hopefully this will get you guys close.

Saaltonen,

Nice tune.. very dynamic!
I'm using it as a base with the Bavsound stage 1, stock 8's and a single RF Punch 10S2on in 1cf sealed pushed by a RF PBR500x1.

Question, I have to utilize Channel H to get signal to my trunk sub setup and noticed your tune had this channel off. How are you getting signal to your Infinity setup? I know I made changes to your i/o but didn't pay attention to what you originally had setup, I just remember H was "not assigned"

Once I get my Musicar enclosure and AudioFrog GS10D2 installed, I'll tweak and post the results.

I finally got around to loading the 3.31b version onto my laptop and setting up v3 tunes (BimmerTech OEM) and it's actually dramatically better sounding that the previous v2 tune.

I also noticed the gain is down a bit (much more manageable).

Sounds good!

As title of thread states, these are specifically for BimmerTech's PP82DSP amp. You need the amp to utilize these tunes...
