Oil filter housing gasket leak?

Recently I was looking at my oil filter housing gasket to see if anyways was wrong because they tend to leak on the n55s , recently bought a 2015 435 with 32k miles and see a gasket with some oil dripping down , anyone know what it is ?

Get a mirror a look under there or, take a picture with your phone. However, it looks highly suspicious since no oil should be there. As you probably know there are two gaskets and two O-rings associated with the oil filter housing.

same exact year and model of your car mines an f32 and xdrive (not that it matters i dont think). Bought mine with 41k and the Oil Filter housing gasket leak started around 58K. I didn't take pictures but from my recollection the leak looks similar hard to tell from this pic though. If you can i'd fix it yourself it will save you $600.

Appreciate the help , went to the mechanic yesterday he told me it's just a 1 dollar o ring that's causing the leak , so I just replaced all the gaskets on the oil filter housing gasket so I don't get anymore problems with it in the future . Cost me around 650$

that sounds about right, the stealership wanted $1300! I tried not to laugh when he quoted me. I used "DuPont Viton synthetic rubber" gasket instead of an OEM gasket which i've heard will crack every 50k miles or so, so thats why I went with the after market gasket.

Next watch out for that Valve Cover Gasket oil leak. Good luck
