You should be EXTREMELY careful with this!!!! Too many people had their cheap lips depart on an individual flight path during high speed on the motorway! You can not only cause a serious accident but also kill with this!

I for one would not risk it and if I ever convince myself that a lip does not make the car look more like a winter service vehicle, it will be an OEM one. Never save money from safety.

Tape + bolts is just as safe as any other piece. All comes down to the installer as opposed to the product unfortunately.

Not entirely true. Flutter at high speeds causes material fatigue and cracking / breaking off, even of the original front spoiler/bumper, when there is a badly engineered/manufactured piece of aerodynamic surface attached to it!

There are plenty of reports on the internet. All traceable to cheap materials and inadeqaute attachment.

Never underestimate aerodynamic forces! Imagine what happens when a piece of your spoiler breaks off by say 160 km/h and gets in your tire..... or into the car behind you.

Picked up my car from the shop on Sat after the timing chain job. Washed the car last night at a new car wash only ten min away. Heated water is a plus!

After discovering how fast and reliable the Ethernet-Lightning adapter is for coding, monitoring and diagnostics, I modified the drivers glove box (aka drilled a hole into the back of it) and will use it to store the cabling so I can leave it plugged into the OBDII port.

This solution:
1. Gives me more space in my main glove box
2. Gives the driver glove box an actual use
3. Allows the cable to stay plugged in for easy access and can be routed to the phone holder out of the way of my legs, or used while standing outside the car.

Have you all found other ways to route this cable?

Back in black. Cuz winter is coming... In fact it’s gonna be here this weekend for me (Denver). So it’s semi-annual wheel swap time.
The silver 19x9 summer Apex’s are stowed, the 18x8 Sparco’s will take me everywhere until spring. The slopes beckon...

Since the pre-LCI cup holder LED is basically pointless after installing the Illuminated LCI radio trim... I extended the lead and relocated the LED to have an illuminated center channel like 5/7 Series have with the B&O system.

There is no glare, And can’t see it at all from inside the cabin... mostly because the grill doesn’t let light thru but straight up, but it was fun to do anyway just to be different.

Bent a 19" mag, because I live in Montreal and the roads are like minefields here. Replaced the shield that popped off in the process. Not a good week unfortunately, as the mag cannot be repaired

At least I got my Black Grills in for the F30, gonna wait till spring to put them on. Winters are not fun here

(bonus: my E36 in one of the shots)

this is almost exactly how i have my cables routed now. the only difference for me is that i have a flush/flat obd adapter which connects to my main enet cable so that the OBD connection isn't sticking out so much. but i also drilled a hole in the back of that drivers glove box and it's really nice to have it stored there.

I like! However, they're mud flaps if they're on a pickup truck and they're splash guards on the Ultimate Driving Machine.

Corner balance, more camber and sway bar links adjusted by the great folks at West End Alignment in Gardena, CA. If in socal, can't recommend these guys enough.

Ready for my first auto-x with the coilovers installed.
