345mm 2 pot brembos - plug n play?
Im looking to buy a rear pair of 345x24mm 2 piston brembos to swap out my standard 1 pot bosch rears. do they just bolt on to the rears with a swap of rotor, or is there a need for a bracket of some sort? and where can one find new bolts for the brakes

Plug and play. No bracket needed. You can reuse your bolts (higher torque than the original + 1/4 turn) , or shop on ecs tuning, fcpeuro, Turner, rockauto, etc. You can also go on realoem and find the part numbers and search that way.

Just one thing to think about....just be sure your rotor is the correct rotor for the e brake to work... There is 2 size 160mm and 180 for e-brakes |

The hardware side of this has been well covered, but there's another issue you might run into. Your single-piston caliper has a 42mm piston (about 1385 mm^2 piston area). The dual-piston caliper has 2x44mm pistons (about 3041 mm^2 piston area). That means it takes more than twice as much brake fluid to push the pads together. If you don't get the computer properly adjusted, your rear brakes might end up doing virtually nothing most of the time. |
