So far zero issues. My first ethanol map experience was with the v6.4, starting with 3.0 gallons of e85 mixed with 11.0 gallons of 93 which ran well. I eventually worked my way up to a of mix 4.0 gallons of e85 and 10.0 gallons of 93. Flashed over to v7.0 e30 map and everything is still good even with a 4.0/10.0 mix.

PTF replied to me and suggested I utilize the boost by gear feature. I set boost by gear reduction in gears 1-3 to 10% reduction. This worked beautifully. HPFP takes a bit of a drop but doesn't crash. I think this is the limit of my HPFP. I probably won't run this full time as I don't' want to stress the HPFP (or maybe I will and have a good reason to upgrade when it poops out :-) and save this tune for track days or spirited outings and run the Stage 2 93 octane map as my typical map since I didn't have any HPFP issues on that map.

this was the testmap they sent you correct?

i havent tested the new map yet im still cycline 91 to reset my ethanol content mix.

i do have same issues on stage 2 V7 ( Non e30) so maybe ill try to do reduction on 1-3 by 10% and see what happens also.

This was the Stage 2 E30 v7.0 OTS map, not the test map

He started to say the same thing to me, told him no way was i doing any boost reduction in a awd car lol.. told me I had too much ethanol, I added a bunch of 93 and still did weird crap. Hes having me log a run with the stock tune now... says something looks off on my car. No engine codes or anything, so who knows. gonna try running the rest of the fuel out today and fill up with 93

Did you have the same issues on v6.4? Funny enough, even with 10% boost reduction, the v7.0 map feels stronger on my butt dyno than the v6.4 map with no boost reduction.

I dont believe there were issues..

Im flashing back to stock shortly and logging and see how it looks.. then im gonna flash stage 2 7.0 and log.. im not gonna touch the e30 map again till spring time. Hopefully there is an update by then.

Let us know what happen! I'm RWD 6MT, I'm gonna reflash V7.0 Stage 2 and do boost reduction 1-2-3 10% like Jarred did and see what happens.

smoother but overboost and hpfp crash with no throttle closure... lol, I think its best I stay in the 6.4v till it gets solved...

I took another log this morning. The boost by gear reduction has proven to resolve the HPFP crash in my case. I do see a dip in rail pressure vs target, but not enough to crash. The main issue for me right now is overboosting causing throttle closure. I've sent logs to PTF for resolution.

Yeah you are overboosting pretty significantly. over 20PSI with 17.2 PSI target.

I'm continuing to see overboosting, throttle cuts and drops in rail pressure. I'm not sure how much longer I feel comfortable being the guinea pig. I might go one more revision but that's it. I'm not seeing any real progress in these test maps.

thanks for the attempt! I think its best we sit this out, I myself have decided that V6.4 might be best till they situate the overboosting, throttle cut and rail pressure issues. Im sure the next gen of V7.X will have better results... Your a brave man and definitely applaud you for attempting to help everyone out! Thanks again!!

I cant even log anymore. Updated the app and gave me the i dont have an account error, logged out and back in and now i cant use the dashboard to log runs. Complete waste of a day off. Tells me im in offline mode but im not. Ive deleted and reinstalled, no change.

Im losing faith in that he told me my logs looked good at one point, then blamed too much e85 when i pressed it. Despite the obvious pverboost and throttle cuts. Im likely gonna just get a custom map done in the spring.

Im able to flash maps so im running stage 2 93 map currently.

last night i had issue going offline mode. i just stayed online and did dash logs that way. weird maybe the newest big update ruined some stuff lol...
