Maybe someone with more expertise could chime in. There could also be a wiring solution, depending on how adventurous you are. In one of my old cars, the fog light switch would only work if the lowbeams were on, so I bypassed it and could turn the fogs on/off regardless of situation. |

This works really well. Fogs are auto on w/ low beams. However, switch does not work. No problem. Nor, does the fog light symbol appear on the instrument panel. Also, no problem!
FEM_BODY 3062 LceLampMapping2 MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_L_FUNCTION = 03 MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_R_FUNCTION = 03 Mine were set to 08. Just changed to 03. |

I have searched but it's such a specific thing that I haven't had much luck. This thread has been a great help in customizing the functionality of my fog lights and how I want them to work with the other lights, but having the switch still be functional would be the cherry on top! FYI, I'm mapping my fogs to come on automatically with low beams (so werte value of 03 from that list on page 1) |

As others in this thread have done, I have coded my front foglights to come on when I turn on my headlights (low beams), however, coding this makes the physical fog switch not work anymore. So when I saw what jmciver wrote about there being a way to code the switch to still work after coding the fog lights to come on with the low beams, I figured I'd revive this and ask how, in case anyone else knew.
