needing a bit of help

my computer crashed and I was able to recover most of my info however I wasn't able to connect to my car

I've disconnected partway through and forced stoppage of ISTA+ and hadn't gotten that problem before. I was only diagnosing though. Just rebooted everything and reconnected..
Check your OBD port for bent contacts as well.. i had that issue on my car.
Were you programming when it crashed?

so whats weird is that when i plug my cable to the obd port it reads my VIN so im at a loss why im unable to connect to my car

Check your obd socket on the car and see if any connections are bent. I had a bit of a problem and had to get tweezers to been them back so they'd make contact. Are you using an enet cable?

The pins are good when I plug my enet cable in ista reads my vin so I be that its a problem with the enet ip address and I don't know how to configure that it dosent obtain on its own

set your ethernet to 169.254.1.69 as a static IP. Windows should do the subnet for you.

hi

it happened to me similar once, I did following in a CMD :

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

reboot and then hoping it'll work

edit : sometimes the car just need to be locked for 15min (obd not connected) and then retry from start
