Exactly....I cannot believe how excited everyone is after seeing this concept when we have already seen some spy pics of the production version. I think this concept looks great, but I'm bummed that the production 4er will not be as aggressive as this concept--at least from the spy pics of the production version. Even the "boomerang" looks decent on the concept compared to the production model...

the production 4 series rolling off the truck doesn't seem to have the exact same lines and finish as this one. But I do think the M4 will look pretty mean using this as the base looks.

I'll put my money down for the M4 if it looks like that plus more aggressive. Just wished it was a V8

The wheel gap differences alone are making me reach for the "little blue pill"

I'm hoping with some sport and M options, one can end-up with something much more exciting like the concept rendering vs the tame and more pedestrian looking 4 we see backing off the truck.....

There are lessons that I learned from my F30 such as DON'T BUY A FIRST PRODUCTION CAR. Although the 4ser looks stunning, I'm planning to wait on it for a little while to let all the little rusty bits and pieces to shave off.

I wouldn't exactly say "so far away from the three". Much of it is exactly the three. Ignoring the "concept" bits and BMW Individual interior of this particular model, it is instantly recognizable as a coupe version of the F30.

It has a chopped coupe roof, some rear fenders, and a tweaked rear light assembly... Otherwise, it shares body lines almost exactly with the F30. All the hood lines, front fenders (minus the bimmerang), side body crease, much of the headlamp/grille area, the entire interior, etc, etc, etc.

It is a great design, but to deny it sprung directly from the F30 is folly.

I wonder in advance at the comments(screams) when the pictures of the serial version come out.

(in Germany the customers will get the car one year from now)

This makes me furious. BMW has potential to make beautiful designs like this but god knows the production version just will not look like this. If they came out with this BMW would without a doubt be the best selling brand

I am 100% sure I want to get this car.

I'm coming from a 2010 S5 and 2012 C350 Coupe.

This will be my first BMW.

What's the color is gray is that on the photo. So excited!

I complitly adore this concept, a work of art I would say. The proportions are very close to ideal, trying to catch it. I want if they make and m4 coupe to keep it that calm and noble, not make it too agressive with spoilers, aero thingys. Just to stay that beautiful but be a complete lunatic inside.

The A5 never had a V8, only the 2.0l turbo I4 and 3.2l V6 (which is no longer available). The S5 did have the 4.2l V8, but it is now using a 3.0 supercharged V6.

Correct, but the 2.0T is an inline 4 cylinder.
