My car already has it so didn't need to activate but I think if you already have bluetooth then you should be able to activate the enhanced BT.

F31 owner here :)

Hi All,

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but I'm going to be picking up an F31 330d xdrive Msport tourer pretty soon and will be needing some help so I've registered and need to post a reply

So, I'll be coming from an Audi A4 3.0 Tdi Quattro with B&O hifi upgrade and the all-important Bluetooth music streaming as standard.

The 330 is fitted with the pro nav system but as far as I'm aware, you can't stream from the phone. I think it's got standard speakers in it too .

There are a few bits of coding that I'd like to add... - digital speedo etc, but the music streaming is pretty important to me... is there anybody who might be able to help or that you'd recommend?

I'm based near Morley and happy to travel to you and provide beer tokens...

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers

There's a few of us in Leeds with Bimmercode and the OBD dongle thingy.
If you want to meet up sometime and have a play I'm sure one of us will help
Failing that, you could always just buy Bimmercode and the recommended OBD dongle for around £60 for the two. Depends on how often you plan on changing things....I've used mine maybe 3 times in 12 months, once you have things as you want them there's no real reason to go back in to code anymore.
Have a google and read up on Bimmercode, make a list of things you want to alter then decide if you want to spend the money or just borrow from someone

Oh, welcome to the fold BTW

Just scroll back up this thread and you'll find the most common things people code.
Bimmercode is very easy, so long as you follow the golden rule: make sure the phone you use is in flight mode with only Bluetooth enabled. You really don't want it trying to take a call while you're coding
By all means PM when you're ready, I'll help if I can

Is anyone near Leeds/Wakefield able to help me out! My car came with adaptive headlights but my passenger side isn’t genuine so I have been driving for 2 years with an adaptive headlight failure fault (they still work fine) I never use the feature so want it coding off so I can actually see my trip and not an error! Is anyone able to assist?

I don't suppose anyone in and around Leeds has the paid Carly app do they? My friend is getting the adaptive headlight error come up and just needs it clearing.

I've got bimmercode but there's no way of clearing it on there unfortunately so hoping someone could help in return for some beers?

I’ve just used a chap called Bart Zarzycki to update my Kombi, NBT and amp after a well known Stockport based specialist couldn’t do it.

Bart was class and really knows his stuff and can sort map updates, I-level updates, coding, diagnostics and service entry updates.

He’s based in Pudsey and has a FaceBook page Bimmer Werks.

Beer tokens not an issue. free most evenings and weekends if anyone is free.

edit: other things I would like coding -
[x] Auto fold mirrors on one click lock (if you have folding mirrors)
[x] Door LEDs on in reverse
[x] Rear DRLs enabled
[x] Red sports display
[x] M Performance logo idrive boot screen
[x] M Performance logo on cluster
[x] Digital speedo
[x] DVD in motion (pro nav only)
[x] Video via usb - xvid vcd ogg mp4 codecs (pro nav only)
[x] Tire temperature on TPMS screen (if you have TPMS)
[x] Blinker to 5 when you tap indicate
[x] Rolls Royce noises in car
Does the tyre temp come from the TPSM? I thought there was additional hardware required for this

Hi, any chance you could PM me this guy's number? I can only find his Facebook page but I don't have an account and I'm after a quote for a map update.

If you have the proper TPMS where it can read individual wheels, the sensors can also provide the temperature.

I have dumb TPMS where it monitors rolling resistance to work out if your tyre(s) have gone down.

I think the easiest way to check if you have the clever system will be the valve stems on your wheels will have a metal collar.

The dumb system on my car is a normal rubber valve stem.

Like this?

I'll be looking to add the tyre temp function when I finally get around to doing some coding then
