- Remove the wheels - Remove wheel liners - Remove Bumpers (especially if you have an aftermarket intercooler) - Remove the Coolant expansion tank - Remove the water pump - Drain Coolant - Drain Oil - Support Motor - Remove intake - Remove Inlet - Remove Intercooler - Remove Turbo to Intercooler Chargepipe - Remove Downpipe (and possibly the entire exhaust) - Remove belly pan - Remove reinforcement plate - Remove the Passenger Motor Mount - Remove the Engine support arm - Remove the oil and Coolant lines from the turbo and the motor - Remove the flange nuts that secure the turbo manifold in place - Remove turbo (extremely tight fit) - Transfer over diverter valve - Transfer over Oil and Coolant lines (I highly suggest getting new)- Etc.. In addition to all of the above, one of the biggest challenges is accessibility. On my car in the video, our flange nuts were completely corroded. On some of them, you find yourself in an awkward position turning a corroded flange nut 1/8 turn at a time. for most of the others, you'll need swivels, extensions, and some creativity, lol. Once everything is back together, you need to check for leaks and make sure that everything is set correctly. Even things like bleeding the coolant system take about 12 min, which isn't all that much time, but it all adds up. After we did mine, I flashed the car with a BM3 tune I had, which was good, but my car was misfiring like crazy, so we had to throw some colder plugs in, gapped to the correct spec. Hope this is helpful, Bryan |

I would HIGHLY suggest getting new Oil and Coolant lines and replacing every gasket you can. I believe these are the part numbers and list prices from BMW: Coolant Line 11-53-7-583-900 $54.54 Coolant Line 11-53-7-583-903 $54.54 Oil Line 11-42-7-585-402 $67.23 Oil Line 11-42-7-585-403 $67.23 My lines were crazy corroded and extremely difficult to remove. Once we did get them out, I wasn't risking a leak by reinstalling them, so I opted for new. They aren't cheap, but at the end of the day, I'd rather do it right the first time.. Happy to help if you want to talk about it more. Bryan |

Is the ER CP and TIC just as good as the High Flow inlet kit??

The ER CP and TIC are separate from the inlet. Your intake attaches to the inlet, then the inlet connects to the turbo. Then, it's the turbo, TIC, Intercooler, and chargepipe to throttle body. If you need any of the parts, just let me know |

I've read that some have upgraded the Clutch and opted for a SMF in order to avoid misfiring but i think that was a while back before flashing was more popular. Im thinking of getting a M-LSD first and then wait until next year to get the PS2...Although with the current sale offerings from X-PH i might bite the bullet and get the HW out of the way. Im currently MHD tuned and they are testing some PS2 Maps, so that would be my tuning route. Also, I'm planning to not mess with the fuel system and just go with 93 octane OR at the most try the E20 maps to get just a little more boost. But a solid 450WHPish would be more than enough on the streets. The older i get i ask myself, "do i really need to upgrade my turbo and why do I need to go fast?!" But thats the adult in me talking shit LOL
