Just curious how you liked the Hawk 5.0 pads? I just bought them and am about to ditch the OEM BMW pads that came on the car. Any comments are appreciated.

I have the Hawk 5.0 pads and they are loose in the caliper. I've been waiting for them or ECS to justify/replace and have had no luck. The first time I brake after a direction change, the pads will shift/clunk a bit. Totally freaks me out.

I think they are good and bite well. I've driven at higher speeds many times and the bite is always there and strong. Cold bite might be a little bit less than OEM but is better after they warm up. I purchased the same pads again for the 335 calipers I bought

They're standard rotors, not the M ones.
