Where to buy/what to know re: TPMS sensors?

Hey guys - getting ready to pick up tires for my HRE FF01s. I was wondering where I should pick up TPMS that work with my car? It's a 2015 328 - so I need to worry about wrong models/etc.? I know I have read some cars use X sensor and some use Y.

Thanks!

Goto realoem.com, enter your VIN and see what part numbers come up for your wheels. Then do a search for the part numbers online. That's how I found some compatible ones on eBay for my winter wheels.

go to RG Sport and give them your last 7 of VIN. They'll square you away cheaper than OEM

The BMW F3x changed the TPMS Sensors in 3/2014.

You need the newer units.

I buy my sensors from TPMS dot com. OEM and HUF branded sensors at a good price. already bought two sets from them and they work perfectly on my F30 335i and my fathers F15 X5.

Thanks but when I go to that site it says my car needs a VIN check from dealer due to mid-year change

Gotcha. I just used the chart apex wheels has on their sensors then buy off TPMS. TPMS sold the same sensors for less.

OP, we have a great chart available on our website using the link above and you can purchase directly from our website. If you would like the be extra sure on what part # you need, you can PM us the last 7 digits of your VIN, and we can verify which TPMS sensor is correct.

All the sensors we offer are sold individually. OEM sensors ensure proper functionality with your BMW, accuracy and longevity. You can purchase an aftermarket sensors for less, but the accuracy in the readings from these sensors is not guaranteed, nor is their battery life.
