Folding mirror noise but no movement

Hey folks, I've been trying to search for an answer on how to fix the folding mirror on the f30 if they don't fold but you hear the motor running. The passenger side recently went out I think it's because of the coding I had that would unfold them when locked or unlocked.
if anyone please can point me in the right direction or has this problem please let me know.

If you hear the motor running but the mirror doean't fold chances are the drive linkage is broken.
