Hi, hope everyone's well.

Just after some advice just had turbo replaced on my 435i N55 2015 following the seals failing

Had the car a day and it's still shotting out a load of blue smoke when idling in Park. Doesn't do this when driving only when car is parked with engine running.

First thoughts is oil still in the exhaust however I've driven it about 20 miles on A and B roads at speed and still smokes on idle

If it is still excess oil in the exhaust any idea on how long this takes to clear?

My Indy also did a compression test and was no oils leaks following the new turbo being fitted

Thanks all

Residual oil
Leaking valve guide(s).

That's all I can think of.

Check the charge pipe to see if oil is making it from inlet to turbo to TIC to IC to CP.

Did you have a chance to retrieve and examine any stored codes?

20 miles isn't enough to burn off residue in the muffler. Could also be valve guide seals, bad PCV or piston rings.
