So I know I should start a new thread but I have an issue with one of the electric struts that open the tailgate.

The passenger side strut is bent and I need to get it out.

Warning to all that have the 3GT, DO NOT ham fistedly try to force the tailgate shut when you have overfilled the boot.

The struts bend and its game over.
