Xdrive staggered set issue

I recently got some apex ec-7s and I went with their staggered aggressive street fitment option for my xdrive 335i (265/30r19 19x9.5et33 rear—235/35r19 19x9et30) and I drove it home and felt fine then drove it again that night and it felt fine but then the next day when I went to got take some photos it started to tug or jerk when I accelerated like if my clutch was slipping or something. I got home that day and I asked my dad to see if he could tell what was wrong and he happen to drive by a speed zone where it tells you how fast you are going and he said that he was doing 25mph and the speed zone was saying that he was doing 21mph. This has me kind of confused because on their site on the fitment guide it said that those sizes are safe on xdrive but my car says otherwise. Please if anyone knows what to do let me know!!

Those tires are too small diameter, too low profile (40 up front and 35 rear would be more like it). That’s why your Speedo is off. But they match diameter-wise, so Xdrive should be happy at least… likely not unsafe tho’.

The tire diameter difference between front and back for your set up is 3%. You should be below 1% since you're xdrive

Try running a 235/40/19 up front and it should solve your issue

With the 265/30 19 in the rear? Or should I do 265/35 19?

I have the same wheels with xdrive. I currently have 235/40-19 in the front and 265/35-19 in the rear but you can also go 225/40-19 and 255/35-19.

OPs current set-up equates to .8% difference in diameter which should work on xdrive. So not sure what's going on there.

Do not go with 235-40/19, that would be over 4% diff!

Not sure how much room you have to play with but a 275-30/19 would almost be a perfect match
