Anyone buy from .capital auto equipment.com/

https://www.capitalautoequipment.com/

They have a "Quickjack" for $1250 Can on Kijiji.

I had them send me the manual, and it's actually a Quick Lift model L2500E. My Google search turned up zero results for this item.

Thoughts?

Costco usually releases a bunch of car maintenance products during spring - I would wait and see. New ones went for around this price when on special.

Used ones the fittings may be leaking - around 250 to replace all around with good parts.

I've found their ad from kijiji. they talk about the ''QK500'', I don't know if it's the same of BL-5000SLX. Also their ad is for the 220v version.

I've purchased my quickjack from costco.

At full price, shipped to my door(free shipping) and QC taxes included, it was 1600$ if I remember, and this is for the 7000lbs version.

canadian tire sell it for 1499$+tx, not shipped, and it's for the 5000lbs version of the quickjack.

Glad that I've looked other places before going to canadian tire.

prior to Christmas Costco had the 7000 lbs model at that price, didn't pull the trigger, and now it's no longer on their site.

Quickjack has come out with their new version. Hoping Canadian Tire will gave a sale on old model to clear them out.

I was curious and looked at the current price at canadian tire. full price is currently at 1700+tx for the 5000lbs. the price increase is insane

But even at that price, I probably would have bought it anyway. the lift is paid by itself after 3 or 4 jobs

It is definately worth getting - you can do most of the work on the lift that is needed for general maintenance. If you don't need it yet I would wait for Costco to get it back in.
