This is why you should ceramic coat your wheels.
So I made this short video to help my clients understand how ceramic coating your wheels will save you time and make your life easier. This is the Lexus LC500 that I coated a few months ago. The complete wheel surfaces, brake calipers, and rotor hats were coated with CarPro DLUX.
I go over the use of CarPro IronX to clean your wheels. And before anyone asks, I didn't agitate the IronX just to prove how easy it is to keep them clean in between deep cleanings. The were wiped down with ONR afterwards when we washed the car and Reload was applied to them.

About 2 hours went into cleaning just the brakes once the wheels were removed. Here is the coating vid covering the process as well as before and after pictures of the exterior.

i don't understand why people use anything other than a ph neutral soap or just the stream of a pressure washer to clean coated wheels. you went through all the prep work to have the easiest time to wash the wheels in the future. using anything more is just degrading the coating and you are wasting more of all your products (ironx/reload). topping is a good method, but you shouldn't need to top it if it's maintained properly that early on and you can definitely see strong beading and self cleaning. i would bet anything just high pressure water would get rid of 80-90% of the dirt if not more depending on the conditions.

After ceramic coating those wheels you shouldn't need anything more than a PH neutral soap and very little agitation. Using Iron X will break down your ceramic coating and ultimately remove it.

Not true. IronX was designed to be used with DLUX and won't wear away the DLUX just like it won't wear away the CQuartz when used at the correct intervals with the correct methods.

He hadn't cleaned his wheels in a few months with anything but a pressure washer at a self service bay car wash so this was a deep clean.
