After some matt black M3 style twin slat grilles please, probably off Ebay.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some decent ones please.

Currently got the single slat ones so if anyone wants a swap I can do that too.

Ive got the double slats on mine and im not a fan tbh. Where abouts are you based?

I've just ordered a set so once fitted I'll stick my current single slat matt black ones in the For Sale section, won't want much for them.

but if you both timed it right and used next day delivery, there would only be some flashing involved.

Derby is only a 2hr drive from Buckinghamshire, make a day trip out of it

I've got some X5 ones from a previous car, could cable tie them in place. They'd look like a current BMW with the horrible big teeth they seem to have now.

Do it, then take a picture and send it to BMW HQ to show them the monstrosities they have created.

Some sites say that there are 2 fitments, 1 for pre 2017 cars and 1 for post 2017 cars. Is this correct or are they all the same?

It's the same fitment for all years AFAIK. Not sure were 2017 came from, as the LCI was introduced in 2015

I went double slat back in 2017 but the ebay seller is since long gone. Shame because the grilles I got were good quality.

Seems like it's the same fitment for pre- and post-LCI
