Front pads change
Idrive is showing 300 miles until front pads need changing. Obviously this is only an estimate.
Is it best to wait for the yellow brake light to come on the dash to change them? Also does anyone know the manufacturer who makes the OEM pads for the brmebo caliper? Looking at some pics it looks like Jurid? |

It really is best to visually check all 4 pads, the inboard ones could be more worn than the outer ones. Although as your sensor has triggered, you're really best to change them ASAP to avoid potential damage to the discs.
Oem pads are made by Jurid, but they're not available on the aftermarket, the only Jurid pads available are Jurid White, which are ceramic pads, which will mean much less brake dust and possibly less squealing, but also less initial bite. Pagid, TRW, Textar, ATE etc pads are all equivalent to oem. |

Was wondering how accurate the idirve mileage counter is on the F3x? On the E90 it was not very accurate at all for brake pads. |
