So the whole generalization that if you own 20s you will bend them and they ride like crap is just that...a false generalization. |

Yeah run flats are a nightmare and every chance I get I discard that stuff and get new rims n tires.
Chicago and the region here is rough in general. I even hit a pothole that crept up on me and bent my right front forged 19". But yeah like you said it's where you live. Florida or places like that I'm all for it. Plus the advantage I've found with 20's vs 19's the tires are actually freakin cheaper 90% of the time for the 20" since they're way more common I guess. Another tip of the hat to run 20's if you can.

I have to agree with FC4. Just buy an M4. It makes more financial sense and it is a better car. I don't understand modifications to this degree. If it was not available at the time of purchase, then live with what you have for a while or wait until it is available. I have to agree that I just don't get it.

How are you going to sell this car when you move on to the next car? are you going to put all the panels back on?

I think FC4 is right on point with most of his comments on most of these posts to tell you the truth. Bet lots feel the same way but won't write anything for fear of mods interupting.
anyway car looks good, m4 badging has to go, I don't understand this build financially or logically but to each his own. At the end of the day whatever makes op happy is his business right? |

Looks awesome! Don't know everyone is bagging on him so much : this is the same way creaminz e90 originally started kinda. OEM conversion is clean and can be done at a decent price if you can source the parts. I'm sure we will see a rear widebody in the future... sure he won't have a M4 but he will have tunes and turbo upgrades that will make the car that much more fun to drive. He's gotten to drive the car for a solid year now enjoyed it, and will probably to able to sell the entire conversion for close to what he paid for at the end of the day. Haters gonna hate

Hey guys thanks for the good and bad comments lol .So here is the deal, I had an opportunity to get all these parts from a buddy at almost no cost whatsoever. I will post the IPE exhaust video as that does make the car sound like a beast. I had originally done a front end change and was about to put that on before SEMA and these parts happen to fall into my lap and well the rest is history. As for the rear I wasn't able to change the bumper as the new IPE exhaust would not fit.
The vents will be changed just have not done it yet.. new pics and video soon with new wheels..

I'll never be a fan of stanced cars because it's form over function, but otherwise this looks great. Looks OEM fit and finish. Nice work.

In the e9x era, m3 conversions made a *tiny* bit more sense if you were a fan of the N54/55 and wanted to build around that (Like Creaminz). This, to me, makes no sense as both are FI inline 6's; especially if the f32 isn't x-drive.
Not to nitpick but the sideskirt to rear quarter doesn't really line up well either. Sorry, OP. I like creativity and modding but I'm with others and don't understand the logic here. Pictures look good though, and the car looks clean at least.

I dont understand all these members who say "do this or do that". To each his own and its not your money hes spending. I don't think bimmerforum was made so bmw owners can have a stage to bash one another.

Is there any logic whatsoever to buying a luxury car when a Hyundai or Toyota or Kia would accomplish the same function??? This is a hobby and passion for some people so there is no logic behind it other than it makes them happy. Lets face it, there is nothing logical to car ownership.

I and most of us on here would prefer to never go this route. I want an F80 M3 and nothing more. I want the real thing.
