Tire Fitment
Hey Guys new to the forum. I currently have some Vertini RF 1.1 in 20x9 et35 wheels on order for a squared set up on my 440 gran coupe xdrive. I would like to get some continental dw06 in 255/35/20 but im having problems knowing if these tires are to big to fit and will rub in the front. Ive noticed that some of you guys have had success with 255/35/19 tires so I was wondering if some of you have had success with running 255's on 20's. If need be I could go down to a 245/35/20 if these would fit better. Any Ideas are much appreciated thanks For your help, Gasnor

255/30/20 is 26" and the OEM size I was thinking of when I wrote "it'll fit".
255/35/20 is 27". it is making your gearing taller and there is a possibility the front will rub the fenderwell liner while turning at or near full lock. it is also raising your total vehicle height 0.5". it'll fit within the space of the fenderwell but you really ought to run 255/30/20 is there a reason you want to run 1" over the OEM diameter? |
