Hi all

I'm Ari. New owner of a 4 series 420d gran coupe in glacier silver

Previously owned an e46 coupe. More recently an e90 320d business edition.

Was previously member on e46fanatics and e46zone forums.

Since Thursday, new owner of the 4 series gran coupe 420d auto m sport and thought I'd join here and say hi. Still getting used to the drive of it as I've only ever owned manual cars. But it's a pleasure and relaxing drive for now.

Seems like a nice forum here. I'm sure it's going to cost me a lot of money being here as I always get sucked into subtle classy mods.

Not looking to do too much at the minute. Maybe just a nice alloy Refurb as they need it due to lacquer lifting and some light curb marks.

Some pics below.

Hi, the 4GC is a great car, I'm sure you'll enjoy every moment with it.

Welcome.

Nice car mate and welcome.

I think once you get your first auto you never go back to manuals. I can't imagine driving a manual for my personal car now.

Thanks for he welcomes guys

Yes I'm loving the auto. Just a much more easier drive. Wife is dreading it. Hates autos. They scare her.

But as most have said, once they drive an auto, they don't normally look back.

Hi. Great choice. Love the gc in silver. The auto was new to me on the 3 series I had before my 440. Would not want to go back to a manual now.

Welcome to the group and to the GC club. They're great cars and I can't imagine driving anything other than the auto whist I own a BMW. Here's my Glacier Silver GC, I think it's one of the best colours to really show the lines of the GC and you don't see that many around in silver

Very nice hugrov

Love the wheels.

The auto is nice. Can sit back and relax. Foot down and go.

But I do know what some mean about missing a manual. I have a van for that though lol

Thanks a lot, Ive only recently fitted the wheels and wasn't too sure about them but they're slowly growing on me, they look a lot better in the flesh than they do in photos.

I love the auto because you can just waft about and it's much less tiring, especially in stop/start traffic. It is also very responsive when you put your foot down though, the gear changes are seamless.

Enjoy your car anyway and feel free to ask any questions, it's a great group for info.

Wheels definitely look good mate.

I'm probably not going to do much to mine for now. Purchase of the car was not intended. A big spend that I wasn't really ready to take. Just trying to get ahead of the planned ulez coming up soon

But I'll always be trying to find a way to mod it somehow

I never understand why people get scared of autos.

Tell her to look upon it as two pedals, stop and go! Easy!
