mines might be leaking..just received the turbo smart plumb back so it should be on this week to replace the DV+. Venting to atmosphere version is a no go in my eyes. You will loose power being that the n55 is designed to recirculate the air and MAF sensor needs to calculate how much air to provide to fuel ratio. Unless you get the car tuned or running speed density it doesnt make sense.

yes we beleive so. will confirm when its out this thursday. Been reading of failures, not so much on BMWs but on Audis.

The rep at turbo smart explained that the dual port wont cause any lag or issues with the system.

maybe a fbo car it would not be an issue and maybe it would for you since you have a more modified n55?

no way to tell unforunately

you can have the vent to atmosphere diverter valve. Car will start up and run fine. No issues. Your tune will be off and car running hella rich due to metered air. If your fine with your car running rich, green light it.

has anyone run the gfb and then the TS unit back to back and noticed a difference? im loosing about 1-1.5psi of boost up at the top end, im not sure if thats just down to the turbo running out of steam or the gfb is leaking

Awesome can you link the ftp v2 inlet I have never seen it before, the first one apparently is as restrictive as stock

Yes, the pure is larger. The FTP is between the pure and oem. The old FTP was the same size as oem. I ordered it yesterday and should be receiving it tomorrow.

Looks like your still under target boost but maybe your just at the limits of your octane or what your stock turbo can do.
