Reposting this from the BM3 Facebook page - looks like we have an FBO PWG dyno on the stage 2 93 map.
This is essentially my car minus the DV, so I'm pretty stoked to see gains in the proximity of 80 whp and over 150 wtq. Also interesting to note the dyno graph and the real-world difference between EWG and PWG cars. Makes upgrading turbos the next logical step, although I don't think I'll be doing that for a while. |

Agreed. In a race the car wouldn't be that quick but in the streets it will have a ton of torque. Depends on what you want to do with the car.
For me its about keeping the power linear to redline as much as possible. See the shift points at WOT with an 8 speed auto it never drops below 5500 Last edited by SflBimmer8484; 04-04-2018 at 12:15 PM.. |

Also how do AA clients know when you guys are doing updates to the AA OTS files? Will it be announced on the forums like these other vendors do(BM3,MHD)?

Based on those PWG Stage 2 Dyno results, wouldn't it be neat to adjust the PWG OTS maps for linear power increase, or at least offer a second Stage 2 map for those who prefer?
Also, I'd like to see a Stage 1 PWG Dyno result. If that map would linear increase up to the maximum possible with stock turbos I'd be more than happy to stick with map 1 even when being FBO. |

Again! Andrew? The video you posted I want power up top as opposed to massive tq down low ,thats like owning a M113 v8 AMG don't want that.

Just wondering if Nic can have the tune not put down so much torque so Early at the early RPMS and then have it fall off so rapidly. As you said this would not make for a fast race car.

Besides, I think what’s being shown here is that pwg power falls off up top when being compared to ewg. I don’t think it’s about the tuning which yields the torque curve. It’s about size of the turbo. Last edited by matty088; 04-04-2018 at 07:48 PM.. |

Couple notes thus far that have stood out to me and as a result I am happy with selecting bm3. I think right now there are few difference
1) bm3 offers logging which is a huge benefit. Huge. . By the sounds of it aa will offer it shortly. I have no idea how it will compare. 2) price. Bm3 is a bit cheaper. 3) aa advertises 80whp gain but in due time we will see if it’s more or less. Bm3 is showing to produce 100whp or more. 4) bm3 has more robust platform to build off of as the car progresses. Ie custom maps from tuner of your choice. 5) bm3 offers or will soon offer the end user ability to change settings such as burbles and toggle cat heating cycle on/off. This is huge for most people. But for me I am happy with the ots map in these areas. 6) aa’s approach is pretty good I think. It seems like they are willing to fine your maps based on logs. This is seemingly a pretty good option and “might” yield more Hp than a typical ots map. Key word is might. We will know soon. Other notes. Reliability is still an unknown. Both have amazing customer service. Mhd data is limited but people seem to be excited about it during its beta. Last edited by matty088; 04-04-2018 at 07:46 PM.. |

Typically though from what Ive seen with all the fbody cars including my f80 m3 is when you push it to hard in the beginning it tends to fall harder up top. |
