Any guides for carbon Fiber lip?

Are there any guides for installing a carbon Fiber front lip? All I can find is a video from Kies Motorsports with bumper removal. Any other guides besides that? The other guides has a support beam. Mine only came with a lip and 2 splitters.

I'd drill it in instead of using 3m tape. I used 3m tape for mine, but for some reason it became unstuck in the middle part of my lip and I hit a dip and rip 400 dollars.

Wait, so when you installed the lip and splitters, you didn't drill anything? All you did was use 3m tape?

I am an idiot and only drilled the outer edges of it. I trusted too much in 3M and just used it in the middle, didn't think it would become unstuck.

if your car is lowered than you are gonna have one hell of a time with it.

My CF lip only lasted one year before it cracked. looked beautiful but man, i feel so much better with it off now, dont have to hit driveways and speed bumps at an angle anymore.

My car is stock suspension no xdrive. How hard is it to install without putting the car up (no jack stands)? Was your car also lowered?

Easy to install. I did mine while it was on the ground (x-drive, no lowering).

For mine, I did the 3M tape to hold it, and then drilled and screwed. My lip was hollow on the backside (looked like a "c"). It felt like it would die if I clipped a curb stop, or backed out and it might catch on something.

To address this, I filled the backside of the "c" with minimal expanding mono-foam. It's been flawless for 3 years now. Just make sure it's the minimal expanding (for window and doors as the other stuff will swell and destroy it.
