End of Warranty check - advise and tips?

My car reaches 3 years old in September, and i got my letter for the check + first MOT...

thing is, given my experiences with Sytner leicester, no chance am i taking my car there.

- can anyone recommend a main dealer anywhere in the midlands, east or west, that they could trust (if such a thing exists)

- is it worth taking my car to some specialist? who could test the engine, diagnostics, etc? or is there not much point. I have an excellent independent where i live in Leicester but given the B58's haven't been around that long its difficult to know if an indy would be able to know what to look for, sounds etc...

- i can only see 2 faults with my car, the interior light flashing issue which is rare but happens (and as far as i can tell from the thread on this, a problem that was never solved) - and i could swear there's the very faintest, slightest, of tapping from the engine, but don't know if its just my imagination.
apart from that the car seems to drive as it should, but without having driven another B58, how would i know for sure?

i duno how to go about actually verifying this - i wish there was some hot shot B58 renowned expert somewhere in the UK i could take it to that could pick out any issues!

what would you guys do?

Rybrook Warwick never had personally had an issue with either of my two 3Series other family members use them and also no issues.

Check the favorite buttons for cracks. Had my head unit replaced under warranty for this reason. Easier to see when illuminated in the dark.

Interesting you mention your experience with Sytner Leicester. Can you share some of your bad experiences with Sytner Leicester please?

Anything cosmetic, you will have to find for yourself I would guess. But, alloys are a good place to start. Any corrosion and they should replace them. I got a new set of roundrels as well.

Any squeaks, creaks, or odd noises are worth pointing out.

Check the bottom of the door seals where they join to make sure they are ok.

Lights or switches that don’t work are also worth pointing out.

Make a list of anything you think shouldn't be there and needs replacing e.g. badges, centre caps, boot struts, etc, and tell the service advisor! I did and all got changed with no issues. Go prepared
