New to the Charlotte area

Greetings, I am getting ready to move into the Charlotte area and was wondering what the general opinion is of the BMW dealerships. Also, any good indy shops for after my warranty expires.
Any good windy roads nearby?
TIA
Chuck

Welcome! I've taken mine to Hendrick BMW a few times and they've been fine, definitely pricier than the Indy shop I prefer (NTB in Indian Land has been able to meet my needs and are very reasonable).

I'm from Greenville, SC but I've taken my cars to Hendrick BMW quite a few times because the one here in Greenville is such a joke. I agree that they're pricey but they're definitely a good dealership, can't complain.

That's great, congratulations! Charlotte is amazing, we've been here for just over 2 years (actually we are in Fort Mill, SC) and came from Chicago. Almost everyone here is a transplant. Yes, it would be great to meet for coffee. I'll PM you my number.

Can we get together on Saturday the 15th? Since I don't know the area that well, suggestions as to time and place would be very welcome.
Thanks, and looking forward to meeting everyone.

I'd be happy to get together on the 15th but we are having my sons' joint birthday party in the AM then my family is visiting from out of state. Would you be up to meet the following week or even sometime Sunday the 16th for a bit?

I'd be fine with either. I would just need to know when so I can plan ahead.

Which part of town are you moving to? I'll pick a coffee shop and we will see how many people can meet.

Check BimmerShops website. Found many more BMW independents than I ever knew about in my area.

I avoid Century like the plague. I don’t utilize dealerships as I do my own work, but even the times I’ve had to have software updates done or to buy parts, they have been awful.

Here's a different idea, y'all want to meet in my neighborhood? I'll pick up coffee for everyone and we can hang out. There's a park next door and if the weather is nice, people can bring their kids and they can play.
