Breaking Bad movie coming your way
Just heard this morning on the radio that Breaking bad movie is in the works.
I binge this show every Christmas. It never gets old. I'm definitely interested to see this movie. Your thoughts? |

Never watched the show, but I hope it's good. Always room for more good movies.

The show builds-up slowly but when it finally gets going it is quite riveting. So I would say the payback is worth it. And some episodes can be quite shocking if you go by the previous relatively uneventful episode. Maybe they did this uneven pacing on purpose to amplify the drama.

I doubt it will be the same story.
Im assuming it will be a continuation focusing more on Jessie Pinkman, or maybe Walter White survived. Maybe the cartel is back and they want revenge. They go after Walter's family and Jessie is the only one that can save them, so he comes back. Who the hell knows. |

I'm afraid that the movie will be a complete failure storywise.
Why? Because the storyline of Breaking bad is very detailed and prepared. Usually movies have very simple and undetailed storylines because everything has to be crammed in that 90min or 2 hours whereas a series can use a whole season for that. So in series the storyline of the characters etc is much deeper. With series you really get to know the characters, for instance if they have siblings, what their youth was like etc etc. In a movie 1 or 2 30sec flashbacks have to tell that story.

That and "prison break" for me were always supposed to be movies.
I'd love to see those stories in a 2 hour sitting. I hate soap operas so I can't watch any series of any show. |

Yeah, either Pinkman and how he rebuilds his life. Or Walter White doesn't actually die at the end of the series.
No one cares about watching anymore WW's annoying wife character. |
