No, it can't. It can be used to code a battery type change, but not register battery.

I was coding my car tonight (for various things, nothing related to the headlights) and received an "Adaptive Headlight Malfunction" error upon restart of the iDrive -- but I test-drove and the adaptive headlights are working fine. I then coded something else and got the error again. Does anyone have any idea what would cause this message to appear everytime I "Code FDL" and the iDrive restarts? At one point, on the "Connect" dialog, I accidentally chose F10 instead of F20 (for my F30) and only realized after hitting the 'Code' button, and am worried I might have screwed something up with that?
EDIT: I just read on another post that coding the FEM_BODY throws this error (which is what I did). If this is true, phew! Can someone confirm this behavior? Last question is -- how could I choose F010 on the "Connect" dialog and still have it work/connect to my F30? Could any harm have come from this? Last edited by int; 10-24-2016 at 09:25 AM.. |

Using Esys 3.27.1...is the following error generated during 'Code FDL' anything to worry about?
I managed to activate puddle lights in reverse successfully however, during the 'Code FDL' procedure I saw an error but the process did not report any errors. BMW_LOGO issue
Hello Community,
I am new into coding; I got the ENET cable few days ago and I did my first test using my 2016 F30: FEM_BODY 3110 ASP_AUSKLAPPEN_NACH_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN aktiv Werte=01 Unfold Mirrors on vehicle unlock via Key Fob or Comfort Access. ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN aktiv Werte=01 Fold Mirrors when holding lock on Key Fob or Comfort Access. ASP_BEIKLAPPEN aktiv Werte=01 FEM_BODY 3053 KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN Werte=00 Delay time to activate Convenience Closing via Key Fob or CA. KOMFORTOEFFNUNG_FB aktiv Werte=00 Open Windows/Fold Mirrors when holding Unlock on Key Fob. KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB aktiv Werte=00 Close Windows/Fold Mirrors when holding lock on Key Fob. FEM_BODY 3060 ESS_AKTIVIERBARER_AUSGANG bremslicht_blinkend Werte=02 Change Emergency brake light from Inner Brake Lights to Flashing Lights. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1225913 FEM_BODY 3070 OVT_BEI_RUECKFAHRLICHT aktiv Werte=01 Door handle LEDs light up when engaged in Reverse BKOMBI 3000 BMW_LOGO mpm Werte=01 Changes KOMBI/HUD startup to M/// Performance. BC_DIGITAL_V aktiv Werte=01 Adds the vehicle’s current speed to the BC cycle list (Displays on KOMBI screen). Everything went pretty well except for the BMW_LOGO. I am using the tools provided by TokenMaster: E-Sys_Setup-3.27.1_RC_b44813, ESysLauncherPremiumSetup_2.5.3_Build_108, and psdzdata_58.1_lite. - Am I missing something in the configuration to have KOMBI/HUD startup to M/// Performance? I still have BMW logo and BMW Performance Drive - Should I a get a recent version of psdzdata? Thanks in advance for any help. |
