If you follow my post history you will notice that I frequently change the wheels on my F31. Here's another beautiful set for your consideration! Wheel Model: Advan TC4 Umber Bronze Metallic (No Center Caps Included) Wheel Spec: 18 x 9.5 et38 - Square *Fits all F3x cars (coupe, sedan, wagon) Wheel Condition: I installed the wheels and tires less than 2k miles ago. No bends or structural damage. No repairs. There is one 15mm curb rash on one of the wheels. See close-up pic in my second post. Tires: Michelin SS - less than 2k miles of use - Installed new, along with the wheels. These are the 'Star Spec' version designed for BMW 255/40/18 - Square No rubbing with H&R Lowering springs without camber plates. 5mm front spacers required to clear the front strut. No rear spacer needed. Are the fronts needing spacers because of the wheels? Would running 235 or 245 work without spacers? I see that sort of defeats the squared set up. Thanks for your help I'm new to this.

Spacers are required to clear the front strut on inside. It's a small compromise to run square, 255's and have good rear fit. A lower offset front would avoid spacers but then the rear fit can be too aggressive. I have used spacers on multiple platforms over 15 years. I have never once had a single issue. BMW themselves use spacers on their factory built GT4 race cars, Porsche used them on OEM street cars in past. Square is the only way to go on xdrive. If you look at my post history you will see I have had many wheelsets and all were square.
