I have both 528i and 328i, believe me they are two totally different cars.. do not compare the two and do not buy any basic bmw, from 28i it's the right bimmer others are just for the needs different suspension setting, different gear ratios and other stuff... what I noticed from driving both the f10 has: performance no match the f10 is much slower, heavier steering, less precise, less agile, more comfort, better isolated, more spacious all that adds weight so choose weather you like big ass comfy car or a sports sedan but still comfy. my opinion it's well suited for old men.

In the f30, i'm not sure and I don't think so they wouldn't find anything to put in the LCI but for the f10 LCI is coming soon and it's totally different

Hello Guys,

I am very happy I found this post, I am sherif (37 years old) Dokki, I am comparing the 320 with the 328, what do you think, do the differences worth the price difference?

Frankly I love the proffessional idrive on the 328, can it be retrofited on the 320?

if your into performance there is a big difference! plus navigation, tv and wider screen and so on...its up to you if its worth 76,000 pounds! i think it does...i just have enough for the 320i...but im doin the impossible to get the 328i!! (Inshallah)!!

I dont think it can ber retrofitted in the car!

Do you know if the sports line in general has stiffer suspension than luxury line? Because my concern towards BMW was always the stiff suspension in our beautiful streets which turns usually to loose suspension after time (shakhlala fel 3afsha)

Hello, welcome to the club, I am Moataz.. most of us here are 28i fans lol they are the same mostly if you compare equipment but mechanical 28i is identical as 35i for the 20i it's drive shaft, gear ratios etc. are different so the output will be different even if you put on after market ecu with stage 2 you will hit 250 hp but for 28i even much more and yes definitely the professional idrive can be retrofitted.. and for the sport line it's just a marketing thing just accessories difference no stiffer suspension or lowered than luxury except if you ordered the adaptive suspension or the M-package which is 1mm lowered.

Do you know if i got the 20i, where can i change the idrive to the proffesional idrive, and is it origional or not? Because I asked in bavarian showroom and they said it can not be changed.

No, you can buy it from the internet original and do it your self or go to 7erafyeen , it's totally up to you but I think it will cost due to shipping and customs. the best thing in BMW that they are prepared for every upgrade.

ya of course it can be at the dealer but you have to pay extra 15,000 pounds I think..

ya but it's not about the pedals, the shifts are faster than normal one (without pedals) but i rarely use it anyway so it won't make a difference
